Tutorial Assistant
Salary: £22-23.5K starting wages per annum plus benefits package
Hours: (37.5 hours per week)
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a professional assistant to join their UK-based team. The role is to provide a pivotal support service to Tutors of our centre. They are a UK registered Christian charity with a

As a successful applicant, you would be providing administrative support, bringing a high level of competency and professionalism to diary management, communication and other support.
Duties Include:
- · Responding on behalf of the Tutors to speaking and writing invitations
- · Managing and responding to emails where requested
- · Coordinating all travel plans and speakers arrangements (flights, trains, technology etc) and details for speaking engagements in liaison with the inviting party
- · Liaising with the curriculum coordinator regarding teaching dates
- · Administrative support in the preparation of RZIM talks, teaching, speaking engagements and other projects
- · Coordination and liaison with Christian Unions and The External Projects Officer in preparation for outreach weeks
- · Drafting and sending out letters on behalf of the Tutors
- · Some opportunities to manage Twitter accounts on behalf of Tutors
- · Assistance completing expense claims
- · Support to the Tutors in accepting and preparing for media requests
- · Accompanying Tutors at speaking engagements
- · Coordinating material to take to events (books, sign-up sheets, publicity material)
- · Assisting at events (registration, bookstalls)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Actively involved in the Christian Faith
- · Essential to be in sympathy with the aims, ethos and work of RZIM
- · Good education to graduate level/equivalent
- · Ability to work with limited supervision, using initiative as required.
- · Highly organised and able to prioritise workload under pressure
- · Excellent interpersonal skills
- · Good writing skills
- · Experience in office administration and operations
- · Experienced in or willing to learn basic website content editing
- · Experience or understanding of an academic setting (e.g. culture, ethos, etc)
- · Some experience of research or understanding of research methodology .e.g academic
referencing etc.
- · Ideally, experience using social media, blogs, updating websites, creating and editing audio
and video files
- · Willingness to travel
- · Driving license desirable
