Position: Tractor Driver

Location:  Mirfield, West Yorkshire

Full time – Permanent

Salary: Negotiable – dependant on experience

Our client is an established commercial landscaping company and a vacancy has arisen at the Head Office located in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, for a Tractor Driver to carry out commercial grass cutting operations.

The successful candidate will have the ability and self-motivation to ensure the day’s tasks are completed within the given timescales and to a high standard.

General responsibilities include:

• Large scale grass cutting on a commercial scale on various sites across the region.
• Actively ensuring the Company’s Health and Safety policies are rigorously adhered to.
• Accurate completion of required documentation in line with the Company’s ISO Standards procedures.
• Flexibilty and willingness to work as part of a small team to undertake other related grounds maintenance/landscaping tasks as required.

Essential requirements:

Previous experience in commercial landscaping operations and sports pitch maintenance.

Driving licence

Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with management.

Flexibility in approach to working hours – may be required to start early or work later in line with the operational needs of the business.

Will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Will be requried to undergo a New Starter Medical carried out by our Occupational Health Provider
