Location: Leicester
Hours: Full Time
Salary: negotiable + profit related bonus + fully funded vehicle

Our client is a specialist road surfacing contractor established in 1946, operating generally within a 50 mile radius of Leicester.

An opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor to take charge of the machine-lay asphalt operation, reporting directly to the Operations Manager & working predominantly within a 50 mile radius of our Head Office in Leicestershire.

Duties Will Include:

• Survey & measure sites
• Check drawings & specifications to ensure compliance
• Order materials & plant
• Issue written/verbal instructions & drawings to Site Foreman
• Monitor programme & adjust material orders
• Liaise with clients & supervising authorities
• Remeasure on completion
• Maintain Quality Control
• Maintain Health & Safety Standards

The Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience in road construction
• Machine-lay asphalt experience an advantage
• Thorough knowledge of specifications
• Self-motivated & proactive
• Customer focussed & diplomatic
• Ability to forge strong team work ethic
• Leadership & motivation
• Man management
• SSST/S or SMSTS
