Stores Supervisor
Our Client, Kaye-Dee Marking Solutions Ltd is currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Stores Supervisor to work within a busy printing equipment supply and manufacturing company in Sheffield.
This is a hands-on role that will combine basic purchasing with stores work to cover all aspects of the warehouse and will include supervising one other storeman.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and keen to take full responsibility for the stores area from cleanliness to stock takes as well working with other departments to ensure products are available when needed and shipments are sent out on time.
The right candidate will have good computer skills to run the stock control system and Microsoft Outlook.
This is a permanent position, after successful probation period, with a long established and successful company in the print industry.
Hours: – 37 hours per week
Location: Sheffield
Role: Full time-Permanent
Salary: Dependant on Experience
The main requirements for the role are:
- Forward ordering of sales stock
- Liaise with customer service for shipping information
- Work with external carriers and suppliers
- Sort out packaging requirements and order these
- Pick and packing
- Goods receiving
- Stores layout improvement/suggestions
- Computerised stock control
- Stock Takes
- Ordering of business consumables
- Supervising
- Work closely with other managers in the business
- Fork Lift Truck License
