This is a career accelerating opportunity for an ambitious Emissions Monitoring Level 2 Team Leader to develop with our EnvironmentalTesting, Inspection and Compliance Company.

Our client is a fast growing company, looking to recruit a Stack Emissions Monitoring Level 2 Team Leader to join their fantastic team.  The company is focused and a quality driven ISO9000 Registered Company that has held UKAS Certification to BS EN 17025 for many years and gained approval under the Environment Agency’s Monitoring Certification Scheme (MCERTS) shortly after the scheme was introduced.  They were one of the first companies to achieve accreditation for testing incinerators and large combustion plants to BS EN 14181. As part of the Environmental Services team, your challenge will be to undertake monitoring of stack emissions from industrial processes, primarily to determine compliance with current legislation and obligations at client premises. This will include:

  • Monitoring of emissions to documented procedures, standards and protocols
  • Working to our Health & Safety Policies and customers’ site rules and procedures contained in our Quality Manual
  • Preparing detailed site notes
  • Undertaking any equipment maintenance, calibration, or kit preparation tasks, as required
  • Uploading, setting up and operating equipment on site plus general workshop duties

We are looking for a dynamic individual wanting structured career progression, training and development. This includes progressing through the industry competency scheme (MCERTS). You must also have:

  • An interest to develop a career in stack emissions monitoring using manual sampling and instrumental analysing techniques
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights on occasions at a variety of industrial locations,
  • Availability to work away from home during the working week for some days during each month
  • A full driving licence
  • A flexible and positive attitude

Normal working hours will be 08:00 – 16:30, Monday – Friday.  Flexible working will be required.  We offer a competitive salary, and all the benefits of working for a thriving organisation.
