Job Title: Software Product Business Analyst

Contract: Permanent

Location: High Wycombe

Our client is an established software developer based in High Wycombe, providing cloud based software products and is fast becoming the market leader in workforce management software for security and cleaning service providers.

Currently, our client is going through a crucial phase of growth, which will engage you with interesting and challenging customers and give you the opportunity to apply your experience to take their products to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, gather details and turn them in to user stories that ensure developers produce useful enhancements to the software.
Learn the detailed capabilities of the current products so that new features fit within existing functionality.
Ensure the software features meet the needs of the target customers and help to build a product bundle which can be sold by the sales team
Work with marketing to produce supporting product collateral, web content, press releases and case studies in support of the product that present its capabilities in such a way as to attract paying customers.
Manage development pipeline and create user stories using Microsoft Team system and other tools
Creating and maintaining the product roadmap including a development timeline
Work with the head of operations and often the CEO to prioritise enhancements to meet the customer and business demand
Participate in the development and maintenance of an appropriately prioritised backlog of user stories for implementation
Creation of release notes for product enhancements
Training of customers and product evangelisation
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience of working in a software business delivering business facing products
General understanding of software Testing and Development principles, processes and relational databases.
Experience of business analysis, testing, UAT or requirements gathering
Driven, self-motivated and detail orientated individual.
Must have strong analytical skills and excellent communication.
Business process design and improvement
Analytical and logical thinker with excellent organisation skills
Excellent planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Creative thinker with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Experience of workforce management, and or the cleaning and security industries would also be beneficial.
