Customer Services Advisor
Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: £16,000 per year
Due to continued growth and success, our client- an established online retail business, is looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join their team. They need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service requirements and offer a solution to each situation. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.
Duties Will Include:
Keying orders accurately and correctly onto the appropriate databases and computer systems.
Processing and accepting/acknowledging customer orders as per their specific requirements.
Ensuring suppliers have the relevant information in order to be able to accurately dispatch the merchandise on the dates required
Following up quotations and pro-formas to convert sales.
Answering telephone calls/emails and processing orders as per customer requirements.
Providing an outstanding level of customer service via the telephone or email – using professional business level English – both spoken and in writing.
Ensuring that customers are kept informed of any changes to their order and making necessary adjustments.
Liaising with freight, delivery and haulage services in order to ensure a timely delivery of client products.
Adhere to the company’s terms and conditions as well as the returns/refunds policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Confidence working in a high volume and/or fast-paced role
Administration exposure within a business environment would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken, and
Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail are key
Pro-active and a problem solver
