Sales Engineer – Sub Contract Waterjet Cutting

Our client has been the UK distributor of OMAX Waterjet Machining and MAXIEM JetCutting Centres for the past 20 years; they are a well established and well respected business. Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to join the team.

Job Title: Sales Engineer – sub contract waterjet cutting

Salary: Very competitive – dependent on experience

Main Duties: –

Primary duty will be preparing estimates and material costings to customer enquiries

Interpreting Technical drawings

Proficient in CAD/CAM software

Liaise with customers

Converting customer enquiries to orders

Producing job cards for production

Maintaining production schedule to customer requirements

Support for Waterjet machine operator

Machine operation in production environment

Provide technical support to Waterjet Machine Customers

Key Skills: –

CAD drawing and computer literate

Manufacturing / profile cutting knowledge

Good communication both verbally and written, with strong inter personal skills

Self motivated and innovative

Good organisation skills with a can-do attitude

Flexible and willing to travel

Hold a full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills: –

CAD qualifications

Knowledge of sheet metal processes

Experience of laser/plasma cutters or water jets.

Fork lift license

Training: –

Full training will be given.

Excellent promotion prospects for right candidate.

Office and field based

Working week: 42.5 hours – 5 days/8.5 hours per day (30 minutes for lunch)
