Quality Inspector

Our client specialises in the manufacture of small precision rotary cutting tools with various processes on site plus certain off-site subcontract operations such as Coatings, Heat treatment and other specialist services.

They design and manufacture tools in Toolsteel, Carbide or with Brazed Carbide Inserts.

The Role:

• Entails control of the Final Inspection Area, checking dimensions, preparing for despatch and laser marking finished tools.
• Additional duties involve Calibration, some process control, maintaining quality records to comply with ISO9002 and an administrative element to these tasks.
• The Inspection area has standard engineering measuring equipment plus non-contact CNC equipment from Zoller and Walter.

There is Potential for being part of the small management team for the right person, who wishes to develop within a small company.

Hours: Weekly Hours 36.5 / Potential Salaried role 40 Hours dependent on Experience.

Salary range: £11.00 – £13.75 per hour

Location: Warwick

Position open to someone with an Inspection/QA background OR a sound manufacturing background but wishing to move into QA/ Inspection / further development.

Candidates must have a methodical/tidy approach to working, have good basic PC skills and be willing to learn; also an understanding of engineering drawings and be competent with Micrometers /Verniers.
