Production Engineer

Our client manufactures, distributes and maintains Professional Turfcare equipment and grinding machinery to Golf Courses, Sports Clubs & Local Authorities both in UK & Overseas. Due to continued success our client is currently looking to fill 1 or 2 positions within their company.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £8 to £10 per Hour depending on experience

Location: Letchworth

You will be working within an established small team of enthusiastic people where you can call upon your colleagues for support and guidance. The team has a passion for delivering outstanding customer service!

You will report directly to the Workshop Manager.

General duties:

  • Manufacturing Components
  • Production of sub-assembles
  • Production and assembly of complete machines
  • Servicing & Maintaining existing equipment
  • General  factory duties and organisation

The role may evolve in order to help achieve company objectives.

  • Training will be given on products however a good engineering mechanical knowledge would be would be an advantage.

Experience is preferred. The right attitude towards the job and the company are the most important aspect. An educated mind with a healthy dose of common sense is essential.

We offer a full time job with a wage, depending on experience and capabilities. Our office provides car parking and is local to the town with easy transport links.

 

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent.

Required experience:

  • Ideally previous experience in a production service environment.
  • Or a fast enthusiast willingness to quickly learn the role.
