Our Client has worked with pre-war Derby Bentley and Rolls-Royce motorcars since 1976. Their Restoration specialists have between them well in excess of 200 years experience of working on pre-war motorcars. They are supported by a comprehensive Machine Shop and a wealth of technical data relating to these vehicles.
They are currently looking for an experienced Panel Beater to join their team.
Duties Include
- Accurately and skilfully undertake panel repair/remanufacture on motor vehicles
- Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures
- Interpret and implement technical instruction data
- Ensure body alignment equipment is used accurately on all body repairs
- Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
- Keep work area clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Ensure the correct maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in accordance with company policy
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully qualified with at least 2years experience
- Full UK Driving licence
- Able to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail
Required Skillset to include the following:
- Proficient at all aluminium welding techniques including gas welding
- Experience with all techniques of metal forming by hand including shrinking
- Proficient with use of the English Wheel
- Hot shrinking of steel panels
