Job Title: Office Administrator

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Benefits:  20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme

Hours:  Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm but hours could be flexible for the right candidate

Location: Essex

Our client is a world leading specialist in historic Porsche engineering based in Essex. They specialise in road, race, restoration, engine and gearbox rebuilds and consultancy in sales and acquisition.  They are currently looking for an Office Administrator to join their already well established team.

Duties Include:

  • To support the Director in the day to day admin requirements in the office.
  • Administration of job cards and time sheets.  Review productive and non- productive hours.
  • Parts/goods handling administration, in and outgoing (receiving / dispatch).
  • Create and maintain a stock inventory.
  • Answer the telephone and liaise with suppliers and clients in a professional manner.
  • Update and maintain computer databases.
  • Work with accounts to ensure all queries are resolved.
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are being met.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Good written communication skills
  • Confident and effective telephone manner
  • Good organisation and administrative skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Word and Excel desirable but not essential
  • A friendly and organised approach, along with the ability to understand customers’ needs
