Our client, a leader in their field, is currently looking for an Administration Assistant to come and join their team. The candidate will be based at the Felixkirk (Thirsk) office working as a part-time Administration Assistant.

1. KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
To provide efficient and accurate administrative support.
2. MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
To answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Post statements and newsletters in line with Company policy.
Assist with catering requirements for meetings, trials and training courses.
Responsible for petty cash as directed.
Raise purchase orders and customer invoices from approved requisitions (fertiliser, seed and tests).
General office duties.
Holiday cover duties
Take responsibility for dealing with the post both in and out.
Process cheques in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Balancing the bank statements.
3. CORE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Excellent and accurate administration skills
Good working knowledge of Word and Excel, training will be given on our IFS business system
Good customer services skills
Good attention to detail
Positive with ‘can do’ and helpful attitude
Ability to work as a team or individually to meet administrative objectives
Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness – extra hours if needed
Hours: Part time – 11am – 3pm Monday to Friday – flexibility to cover holiday, sickness cover and busy timesetc
Location: Felixkirk, (Thirsk) North Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive, Dependant on Experience
