They are currently looking for a Litigation Solicitor to become part of their team

Duties Include:

Working under the supervision of a senior partner, in your role as Litigation Solicitor as part of the 13 strong litigation department, you will be handling your own varied case load.

• Action all cases in line with client service and company standards and protocols.
• Drafting Defences and Counter Schedules of Loss, adhering to court directions and timescales, draft applications and instruct Counsel and/or appropriate experts as required.
• Managing your own diary and task list to ensure that you work efficiently and effectively on your own and within the team.
• Provide an excellent, streamlined service to client’s to ensure that cost expenditure is minimised.
• Utilise negotiation and communication skills to proactively settle/assist in the settlement of cases to the satisfaction of the client.
• Analyse risk and utilise commercial knowledge to develop sound judgement in order to justify decisions in the management of cases.

The Ideal Candidate

• Ideally you should live within easy commuting disatnce and may be living or looking for work in the Beckenham, Bromley, Orpington or Croydon areas.
• The appointed Solicitor should have over 5 years post qualification experience and be working as a Lawyer managing a litigation caseload in a law firm or legal environment, and be looking for a position offering excellent training, support for personal development, and long-term career stability and progression.
• You must have the ability to work independently and prioritise your workload, possess strong IT and drafting skills, and demonstrate a real commitment to delivering the highest levels of client care.
