ENVIRONMENTAL DEPARTMENT LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Salary: £18,000
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire.
Our client is an independent laboratory based near Bracknell in Berkshire, providing analytical data to the agri-food, horticultural and environmental industries. They employ over 70 people on the Bracknell site and coupled with their small specialist lab in Norfolk, the Livestock Nutrition lab in Yorkshire, and the specialist Poultry micro lab in Shropshire they are the largest Agricultural testing business in the UK.
They currently have a vacancy in the Environmental Department at their Bracknell Laboratory for a Laboratory Technician. Core responsibilities will involve assisting in the receipt and preparation of a range of samples with an emphasis on liquid wastes. The role will also involve performing basic Analytical techniques.
Candidates should have a good basic education preferably with a good grounding in Science which can be demonstrated in proficient verbal, literate and numerate skills
An employment history involving laboratory work would be an advantage but is not essential as this is a Technician role and full on the Job training will be given.
As the laboratory is in a rural location the candidate must have their own transport.
