Laboratory Customer Operations

Our client, part of a prestigious scientific group, is an independent laboratory based near Bracknell in Berkshire, providing analytical data to the agri-food, horticultural and environmental industries. Employing over 70 people on the Bracknell site and coupled with other smaller and specialist labs around the country, our client is the largest Agricultural testing business in the UK.

Primarily working within the Sample Receipt area the successful candidate will need to be able to follow the procedures and processes set out to enable timely entry of a wide variety of samples.

This diverse role will suit somebody who is able to:

• Multi task.
• Think upon their feet.
• Use initiative for problem solving to enable completion of their workload.
• Communicate clearly due to the need communicate with people internally and externally.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for:

• Assisting in the reporting of completed analytical reports and other administrative duties.

Education: – You will ideally have some laboratory experience or scientific educational background.

Own transport is required as the laboratory is in a rural location.

Salary: – Circa £18,000
