Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated IT Support Technician (Windows, Active Directory, Support)

Our client is a video and audio production company that has been delivering corporate communications solutions for over 30 years from their base in Reading. With two video suites and two recording studios, our client provides production services for many independent producers and corporate companies.
Due to constant success, our client currently has an opening for an IT Support Technician (Windows, Active Directory, Support) within a small and busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to build on their skillset and experience.
Your new role as IT Support Technician (Windows, Active Directory, Support):
- You will be supporting the internal and external users on core systems with the option to run projects to update our client’s technology and improve internal processes.
- Both networking and traditional infrastructure support will fall under your remit and you will be known throughout the organisation as a ‘go to’ expert for technical queries that will expand into Audio and Video technologies.
What you’ll need to succeed in the role of IT Support Technician (Windows, Active Directory, Support):
- As the successful candidate in this role you will display previous experience in a diverse technical support role, where you have supported both the network and infrastructure.
- As a natural communicator you will feel comfortable in both working autonomously and alongside the Senior Audio Engineer for Audio/Visual based technical projects.
Your technical skill set will stem from traditional Windows based support with strong skills in VMWare, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2013 +, Windows Server 2012 +, SQL, IIS, DNS/DHCP and SonicWall Firewalls. You would also benefit from a working knowledge of Linux, NGINX, Sophos Antivirus, Audio/Video compression codecs and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite.
What you’ll get in return:
25k – 28k per annum dependent on experience, with scope to increase after a successful probationary period. Quarterly bonus scheme, lunch provided, free parking on site.
