Job Title: Guest Service Executive

Location: Cannock

Salary: OTE £17,000pa

Hours: Full time, Permanent

Our client, established in 2011, is the leading independent shore excursion specialists. They sell shore excursions in over 700 ports for cruising passengers across the world and they are expanding fast. Our client is are currently looking for experienced Sales Executives who have strong sales skills and are eager to progress within the Company.

The Guest Service Executives main objective is to ensure all customers and travel agents are responded to in a timely manner. This will include taking sales calls, taking trade sales calls, up selling product where necessary, using the live chat system to convert sales and to be target driven.

Full training including product training will be given on the in-house systems and there will be opportunities to attend educationals in overseas ports of call.

Duties Will Include:

• Answering sales calls from UK and overseas customers including answering calls from Travel Agents and Tour Operators.
• To convert sales calls into reservations.
• Provide customers with quotations for suitable excursions.
• To follow up all potential sales leads using our live chat facility on the website to help convert reservations.
• Upselling the product where possible.
• Work as a team with all employees, ensuring your fellow staff members have support in all of the above areas.
• Cruising Excursions is open 24 hours a day and 7 days per week, so you would need to be flexible and agree to shift patterns.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Will be able to work a shift pattern.
• Will be able to work as a team and convert incoming sales enquiries.
• Working in a busy inbound call centre located in Cannock you will ideally have experience in the travel industry dealing in a high volume environment.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
