Grounds Operative

Since their establishment in 2007, our client has gone on to manage over 2500 hectares of woodland, maintain 350 major utility infrastructure sites, plant over half a million trees and provide its employees with over 1000 qualifications.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our client’s friendly team at Maydencroft Limited based out of Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for undertaking general grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, sweeping, raking, blowing and pesticide applications. Other duties may include planting, watering, pond maintenance, fencing plus some amount of hard and soft landscaping.

Skills and experience:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience gained in a similar role would be an advantage.
