Role: Governance Officer and Clerk to Boards

As our new Governance Officer and Clerk to Boards, you will play a key role in ensuring that the governance of both NCUK and Northern Consortium runs smoothly. You will prepare agendas, compile papers, produce minutes and ensure that governance meetings run smoothly. You will also work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive and Chairs to forward plan the business for governance bodies, ensuring that all matters including key compliance activities are completed in a timely fashion.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of servicing senior boards and committees and will have a sound understanding of good governance. You will have excellent communication and minute-taking skills and be comfortable managing a complex and demanding workload.
