The Roles:

FLT Operative (Nights) – 5 x Full Time (40 hours per week)

FLT Operative (Nights) – 10 x Part Time (Min 20 hours up to 40 hours potentially / 3 month fixed term contract commencing 12th March to cover peak period)

Key Duties:

  • Ensure all vehicles and pallets are safely and carefully tipped from vehicles/loaded onto the outbound vehicle, in accordance with Company procedures
  • Ensure that Company equipment issued to you is safely and appropriately handled in accordance with Company procedures
  • Ensure that any incidents (people, property, pallets) are reported immediately to your Section Leader, in accordance with Company procedures
  • Ensure that Company procedures regarding Health & Safety in the hub, and handling of freight, are followed at all times
  • Ensure that the hub area is kept clean and tidy
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover for team members as necessary

The Requirements:

  • Fork Lift Truck counterbalance licence holder (clean)
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience of a fast-moving distribution warehouse
  • Able to learn all bay locations within the hub
  • Able to consistently follow Company procedures
  • Pro-active attitude towards duties
  • Commitment to role
  • Flexibility within role
  • Able to work using own initiative
  • Excellent team working / building skills
