Field Sales Canvasser

Salary: £22,500 per annum plus commission

Benefits: 20 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays, small van and mobile phone for work use

Hours: 37.5 hour week (5 days)

Location: North West

Our client supply forklift trucks and associated service throughout the Northwest of England and their core products include global brands such as BYD,Combilift and Doosan.

The business was created in 2016 and has grown 4 % year on year with a stable of large blue chip,as well as small to medium size customers. They provide bespoke equipment and maintenance packages with the directors having over 100 years combined experience in the forklift industry.

Located just off the M6 in Skelmersdale they have fully equipped workshops and offices that were refurbished in 2017.

They are looking to expand their business with a target to double turnover year on year and this new role plays a critical part in the business plan.

About the Role

Initially for at least the first year the role will be spent canvassing businesses door to door in person throughout the northwest of England to gain sales, hire and service enquiries. The successful person will also be expected to gain marketing data on prospects and one day a week follow up and enter the data gained on our CRM system at our Skelmersdale HQ. In time and subject to ability, the successful candidate has the potential to become a territory sales person with uncapped earning potential.

About the person

Must be confident,enthusiastic,hard working,presentable.have the ability to work unsupervised,not concerned about working outdoors,able to work to targets,and it is essential to have a clean driving licence.

Although not a pre requisite,experience in social media and marketing would be of benefit.
