Job Title: Experienced Digital Label Press Operator

Location: Based in Stockport.

Hours: Single shift basis 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Fri. Overtime will be required when necessary.

Due to continued success and investment, our client requires enthusiastic applicants to join the team as an Experienced Digital Press Operator to operate their latest addition UV Inkjet Digital Press.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Read and understand job tickets to guarantee correct product is produced to quality standards and specifications.
• Making decisions regarding quality, color control and color standards.
• Working closely with Production and Sales as a team to ensure quality output.
• Provide demonstrations to customers on a routine basis.
• Complete quality checks and tests to ensure product meets all physical and visual requirements.
• Monitor production throughout the run, making adjustments to reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Troubleshooting equipment, making minor adjustments, as well as preventive maintenance.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Will have previous experience as a Digital Label Press Operator.
• Displays a positive attitude and communicates effectively.
• Ability to multitask and work independently; ability to prioritize workflow based on job complexity and due dates.
• Follows all company policies and work instructions with regard to job performance, confidentiality, recordkeeping, safety, housekeeping, etc.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.

Printers’ Assistant also required to support the busy Flexo Department. Full Training given.
