Duty Manager – Operations

Salary:  £27,540pa

Location: Stockport

Our client, Manchester Community Transport is part of the HCT group, a social enterprise company in the passenger transport industry. As part of our continued expansion we are looking to recruit a Duty Manager to support the Head of Operations & Compliance.

The Duty Manager post is a key operational role working 5 over 7 that ensures day to day operational activities are completed in an efficient and cost effective manner. The post holder will work within an operational team and be responsible for day to day management of front line staff. They will have first line management responsibility for the operational team including drivers, and support staff and for vehicle legal compliance as defined by DVSA with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The post holder will report directly to the Head of Operations & Compliance and will provide the support and expertise required to ensure that MCT operations run in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Applicants are required to have demonstrable supervisory and/or management experience in the field of passenger transport operations and are able to do early starts and late finishes along with a good knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook. Position is primarily located in our Stockport office.

You must hold a valid PCV licence along with the relevant CPC card
