DRAINAGE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Salary: £40,000 pa

Hours: Full Time

Benefits: 28 Days holiday, Company pension Scheme

Location: Hull

Due to continued business expansion our client are looking to recruit a Drainage Operations Manager for various commercial contracts and private customers.

Our Client specialises in cleaning drains and sewers for domestic, commercial or industrial premises. Their fleet of specialist equipped vehicles have the resources and the skills on board to respond quickly and reliably to any emergency.

Duties Include:

• Act as the focal point for all drainage-related issues
• Manage and deliver the technical surveys programme & spend
• Manage the team to ensure the Engineers & Technicians are fully aware of the requirements.
• Value Management of the drainage and ancillary works, ensuring that the requirements for governance are fulfilled
•  Acting as focal point to receive and act on any communications from stakeholders and clients
• Ensure compliance with all data management specifications relevant to managing the Drainage assets
• Manage access rights to the Employer’s Drainage Data Management System
• Liaison with internal teams to ensure correct maintenance is carried out.
• Ensure timesheets are submitted and approved in a timely manner.
• Manage the performance, training and development of direct reports.
• Provide direction, training and motivation necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the network for all users.
• Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System.
• Perform other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Extensive background in the same or a similar type of role
• Full UK Driving licence
• Demonstrable broad, in-depth experience of and expertise in drainage management in the UK
• Organised, committed and with a willingness to complete tasks.
