Job title: Creative Graphic Designer
Salary: Salary won’t get in the way of employing the right creative.
Location: Pickering, North Yorkshire.
For over 20 years our client IF, have been designing and manufacturing really clever and cool gifts and distribute them to over 70 countries worldwide and sell them through most of the famous high street stores as well as lovely little book & gift shops.
We are currently looking for a new talented graphic designer to join our team based in the lovely town of Pickering, North Yorkshire.
Our super-creative team (based at IF HQ) have thought of every product on there.
Then a clever graphic designer (like you) has scribbled, chin scratched, tweaked, mocked up and generally given design life to the product, packaging and Point of Sale displays that you see.
Our new designer will have experience of being able to working through the various stages of creative development from initial rough scribbles or sketches, to 2d visuals, then mock-ups (mastery of a scalpel a benefit) and production-ready artwork. All the time dipping into their own constantly evolving sources of inspiration for style and typography.
We love a pen and paper scribbler who thinks things through carefully before putting a hand on a mouse. They will be able to take direction in good humour and be talented enough to add their own ideas, giving us various credible design options. All of this will probably mean that they will have at least 5 years’ design experience.
We use the standard software packages including:
- InDesign etc.
It’s great fun. It’s work and it can be challenging. But it’s the most creative work can be!
