COURIER DRIVER

Salary: £8-£14ph dependent on driving experience, Monthly Pay

Benefits: 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension scheme, Company Van, 1 weeks training

Hours: Shift work, Full time

Location: London

Our clients are a well known and popular 24 hour courier company based in London and serving the whole of the UK.

They can deliver from the smallest package/document up to large pallets on a same day or next day basis throughout the UK and Europe. They also deliver to destinations worldwide; they are currently looking for good quality, responsible and hard working courier drivers.

This is not a multi drop delivery job this is a same day urgent direct deliveries or daily contracted runs.

Duties Include:

• Delivering in London and Nationwide.
• Delivering and picking up urgent parcels, pallets and docs
• Carry out contract daily and weekly runs
• Following the correct  company procedures with every delivery to ensure safety and great service
• Making sure you carefully carry out all checks and procedures from pre-delivery to post-delivery
• This role will require some heavy lifting
• Some jobs may involve stopovers
• Daily van checks via app

The Ideal Candidate:

• MUST have at least 5 years driving experience
• MUST have a clean UK driving licence and of held it for more than 5 years
• MUST be  able to work shit work and Saturdays
• MUST be able to do shifts of either 4 on 4 off, or 7-7 excluding Sundays
• Willing to do stopovers in Scotland and Europe
• Physically fit
• Be willing to do a CRB and drugs test
• Good time keeping skills
• High level of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Central London and UK roads
• Able to do a monthly 1 hours driving skills course

CCTV AND STAY IN THE DEPOT OVERNIGHT
