Salary: Dependent on level of expertise and experience

Location: Blackburn

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a reputable & progressive Lexcel, IIP Gold & CQS practice based in Blackburn with a branch office in Bradford which has a strong national & overseas client base.

With a growing and valued client base, our client aims to recruit an additional Fee Earner as part of their continuing expansion & growth plan of the Property Team of 8.

Duties Include:

• Undertake involved property transactions for a demanding client base at times based abroad
• You will be responsible for your own caseload to include new builds, freehold, leasehold, sales & purchases as well as Sharia Compliant Finance transactions

• Liaising effectively and appropriately with the client and introducer where necessary
• Carrying out title investigations
• Raising enquiries on the title and documentation received and dealing with responses to enquiries
• Exchange of contracts and completions through to Registration at HMLR
• Providing support to colleagues and less experienced team members such as Conveyancing Assistants
• Ensuring that accurate records and notes are maintained on all matters whilst at all times working within the framework of the relevant Service Level Agreements.

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role
• Applications will be considered from candidates of all Fee Earner levels to include, Partner, Solicitor, or Legal Executive.
• Commercial property experience will be a distinct advantage.
• Able to be responsible for transactions from instruction through to completion
• Use of Proclaim case management system would be an advantage but full support and training is available
