The Company

Our client is a specialist engineering company with offices in Lisburn, Manchester, Dublin and Cork. Employing over 200 people, Edina is one of the largest independent power generation specialists in Ireland and the UK.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, focused individual to become a key member of the Commissioning Team.

The main purpose of this role is efficiently carry out all aspects of Commissioning on the Edina product and Balance of Plant, including all interfaces with third parties, as required by the specific project.

Location: Based from home the successful candidate will be expected to travel throughout the UK, Ireland and if required overseas. When not on site they will be required to report to the Manchester Office.

Essential Criteria: Applicants must demonstrate on their CV or Application Form how they meet the following Essential Criteria.

Qualifications: Minimum qualification to ONC/D, NVQ Level II City & Guilds.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Competent time served Technician in a mechanical/electrical discipline, preferably with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Competent Technician with considerable skills and in-depth knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
• Effective IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
• Full current Driving Licence or access to a form of transport to undertake the duties of the post in full.
