Care Assistant

Our client is a purpose built specialist Resident Care Home in Knotty Ash, Liverpool.Registered with the CQC to provide accommodation with care for 35 residents with complex physical disabilities agreed from 18 yrs+.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for Care Assistants who have experience in the care sector, minimum qualification NVQ 2, preferably NVQ 3 who can provide care and support to a group of residents who are predominately wheelchair dependent and who have varied associated health issues ie Learning Disability/ Autism/Acquired Brain Injury or similar Neurological Disorders.

Location: Liverpool

Hours: 38.5 hrs per week

Salary: £8.00-£8.50 per hour

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to work in a specialist residential setting that has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.

Responsibilities

• To provide care and support for individual residents as prescribed in their plan of care
• To be a keyworker to nominated residents
• To be responsible for recording all care and support within care plans and communicating to senior staff any health concerns
