Business Development Manager
Location: Central London

Our client is a tier one Cisco Partner, with ambitious growth plans. They are looking to grow across the sectors and are building a team to do this. As a smaller company, you will be part of a tight knit team who have a hands on approach and are passionate about taking the business to the next level.
Our client is looking for candidates who are keen to progress into a field Sales role having already proven yourself by meeting your canvassing targets, selling IT business-led solutions or managed services. This role will draw on your proven skills at telephone canvassing whilst supporting your development into field sales. Starting to identify and work with new customers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate what solutions the company can offer to resolve those issues. The successful candidate will join a predominately new team in our new city office and will, be part of a team driving the next phase of growth.
The role has a strong entrepreneurial flavour and will suit someone who has drive and enthusiasm. You will be an excellent communicator who able to engage with senior level stakeholders. Your success will be rewarded with an attractive commission plan.
Key Attributes and Experience
- 1+ years desk based canvassing experience for Cisco (or equivalent) equipment
- Proven ability to arrange meetings
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Tenacity, drive and dedication
- Well organised and methodical
- Good PC skills
- Results and detail orientated
- Professional & diligent
- Strong interpersonal skills & communicating at all levels (verbal/written)
