Bus Shelter Maintenance Operative
Our client works with local authorities across the UK, supplying and maintaining public transport infrastructure. A varied and rewarding split role has arisen for an On Street Engineer/Warehouse Operativeto join a continuously expanding company.
This is a split role as detailed below:
On street maintenance of Bus Stops/Shelters
Travelling to various sites in order to conducton street maintenance and refurbishment works.
Required skills are:
- Good with tools
- Problem solving
- Good hands on approach
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work at height
Warehouse work
Tasks include light assembly, machining and stock control in the warehouse.
Required skills are:
- Driving License – Essential
- Counterbalance Fork Lift License – Desirable (not essential)
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel – – Desirable (not essential)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Live within commuting distance of Thatcham

The package on offer
£8.50 – £9.00 per hour depending on relevant experience
A standard 8-hour day – often with a 6amstart, some weekend working and nights away
