Job Title: Administrative Assistant.
Our client, incorporating multiple laboratory divisions, is the UK’s largest independent provider of analytical data to the Agricultural, Horticultural, Amenity and Environmental sectors. Operating from five locations in the UK, it employs approx. 350 staff, covering all aspects of a company focussed on providing high quality data and first class customer service.
A Vacancy exists in our client’s Customer Services Department for an Administrative Assistant. The primary role for the successful candidate would be to answer incoming customer telephone calls and direct them to the most appropriate department or member of staff. To fulfil this role excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner are essential. Other duties will include making and managing courier bookings on behalf of customers and general filing duties.
This diverse role will suit somebody who can:

- Think upon their feet.
- Work accurately to strict deadlines.
- Communicate clearly due to the need converse with people internally and externally.
Education: – No formal qualifications are required but basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
Own transport is required as the laboratory is in a rural location.
