Job Vacancy- Accounts Assistant
Our client currently has a vacancy in their accounts department.

Responsibilities
The role will consist of:
- Ensure Invoices/ credit notes are processed in a timely manner
- Being front line in Answering incoming calls and fielding messages
- Obtain invoice authorisation
- Post bank payments and receipts onto Sage
- Processing all cash and credit card expense claims, posting onto the system
- Aged creditor reporting
- Prepare and process payment run
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Maintain Supplier relationships
- Assisting with the month end process
- Assist financial controller with additional finance tasks on an ad hoc basis
This role will also involve managing dispatch as well as assisting with sales order processing.
Candidate requirements:
- Either AAT qualification, Part Qualified or qualified through experience or Similar Accounts recognised certification
- Experience of using Sage
- Be a clear and effective communicator
- Self-motivation and ability to organise own time effectively
- Prove that they must be able to work accurately to deadlines
Study support will be available.
Salary
- Depending on experience a salary of £15,000, with further experience can range up to £20,000 pa.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday
8.30am to 5pm, half an hour lunch
